Topping Launches E30 II DAC & L30 II Headphone Amplifier
Topping has just dropped its latest entry-level desktop stack with the E30 II and the L30 II. Both the E30 II DAC and the L30 II Headphone AMP come as successors to the highly-acclaimed E30 DAC and L30 Headphone Amplifier. Topping has completely redesigned the E30 II with a dual DAC arrangement now and improved digital processing circuitry. The L30 II has got a redesigned NFCA architecture that provides it with tremendously clean performance and high-power output. Both the E30 Ii and L30 II are priced at 149$ each, making them a perfect desktop stack at a pocket-friendly price.
Topping E30 II:-
Topping E30 II brings many improvements over the OG E30 DAC. Instead of a single AK4493 DAC chip, the E30 II uses dual AK4493S DAC chips. For all those who don’t know, AK4493S is the latest gen of the AK4493 chipset. The AK4493S is launched recently, they provide extremely clean background and ultra-low distortion in the output signal. Topping has upgraded the Digital Processing circuit with a new redesigned architecture that enables clean input through digital Coaxial and Optical inputs. It supports high-resolution PCM(32-Bit/768kHz), DSD(native DSD512), and MQA signals. Topping has equipped the E30 II with XMOS XU208 USB Processor that enables the device to work straight out of the box with most systems.
Topping E30 II comes loaded with pre-built digital filters for both PCM and DSD signals. It has six PCM filters and two DSD signal filters. Topping E30 II also supports pre-amp function and has adjustable line-out function. The E30 II is launched officially for 149$.
Topping L30 II:-
Accompanying the E30 II, Topping has also released the L30 II headphone amplifier. The brand has completely redesigned the NFCA(Nested Feedback Composite Amplifier) module for the L30 II. It allows the L30 II to produce a powerful output while maintaining ultra-low distortion and high dynamic range. L30 II is a compact device that matches the dimensions of the E30 II making it an ideal partner for the DAC. It produces a powerful output of about 3500mW at 16Ω of the load. It is designed to drive most IEMs and headphones in the market with its tremendously powerful output. L30 II outputs high-voltage swing, high output current, and low output impedance. Its output impedance is rated at just 0.1Ω. Topping L30 II is launched officially for 149$.
The entire Topping E30 II and L30 II stack is priced at 300$, promising a premium performance at a budget price.
