Topping has just dropped its latest flagship balanced desktop DAC, the D90SE. It shares the flagship throne in Topping’s lineup with the former D90 model that featured an AKM DAC chipset. For the D90SE, Topping has equipped the device with the flagship ES9038Pro DAC chip from ESS Sabre Technologies. It delivers industry-leading performance achieving the industry’s lowest 0.00005% THD+N ratings. D90SE supports full MQA decoding as well as high-resolution PCM(upto 32-Bit/768kHz) and native DSD(DSD1024 with IIS input) decoding. Topping D90SE is available to purchase for 899$.

It decodes high-resolution audio signals with great quality providing a transparent and noise-free output signal. D90SE achieves industry-leading performance with ultra-low distortion and high SNR & dynamic range in the output.
2nd Gen XMOS 16-Core USB Signal Receiver:-
The flagship DAC is supported by XMOS XU216, a 2nd generation 16 core high-end USB signal receiver. It provides support for the high-resolution audio signal, the D90SE decodes PCM up to 32-Bit/768kHz and DSD up to DSD512 natively over the USB signal input.
MQA Support:-
Hi-Res decoding with the Topping D90SE is not limited to hi-res PCM and DSD signals, it also supports MQA decoding. It unfolds the final layer of the MQA files and presents a studio-like immersive experience for its users. MQA decoding is supported via USB, AES, Optical, and Coaxial input options.
High-Resolution Bluetooth Connectivity:-
Topping has featured the advanced Qualcomm CSR8675 Bluetooth chip in the D90SE. It provides a stable Bluetooth V5.0 connection with high-resolution LDAC/AptX HD/AptX LL/AptX/SBC/AAC wireless transmission protocols.
XLR+RCA Selectable Output Options:-
Topping D90SE supports both single-ended and balanced output options. It houses XLR and RCA output ports that can be selected as per the required output. Users can choose between three different output modes, XLR only, RCA only, and XLR+RCA too if one needs output from both the ports.
Pre-Amp Function:-
Topping D90SE is not only a dedicated high-end DAC with a fixed output level, it can also serve as a pre-amplifier where you can control the output volume level using the front panel or the remote control.
