Shanling has unveiled its latest upcoming digital audio player, the Shanling M8. It is going to be the face of the Shanling’s open Android DAP series with a flagship dual DAC chipset featuring two AK4499 chips from Asahi Kasei(AKM Technologies) and an innovative interchangeable headphone output port technology. It is going to be available worldwide in November this year priced at 1659$.

The chipset is usually found in high-end Audio Players and DACs like FiiO M15, Astell & Kern SP2K, Topping D90, and many more. It can decode PCM up to 32-Bit/768kHz, DSD up to DSD512 natively.
Interchangeable Headphone Socket:-
The interchangeable Headphone Socket is a latest technology being developed by Shanling Audio(Patent Pending). In this, the player’s headphone output socket can be switched with different termination ports like 3.5mm Single-ended, 2.5mm Balanced, 4.4mm Balanced, or 3.5mm Pro(Balanced). This is going to be the world’s first hi-res digital audio player with this tech allowing the user to use any of the termination port depending on the termination port of their headphones/earphones.
