Sennheiser has unwrapped its latest pair of premium in-ear monitors, the Sennheiser IE600. The IE600 covers the gap between the entry-level IE300 and the flagship IE900, featuring a similar 7mm TrueResponse micro dynamic driver like the other two siblings. Both the IE300 and the IE900 have got nothing else but praises in the industry for their excellent sound performance, the IE300 known for its powerful lower end while the IE900 is praised for balanced yet highly detailed sound. But there is a huge price difference between the IE300(300$) and the IE900(1300$), the latest IE600 stands in between at 799$. We sincerely hope, the IE600 brings a quality sound for its price, the pair is available to purchase now on HiFiGo(Links in this blog are not affiliated).

The IE600 has a similar form factor to the other two siblings, what makes it stand apart would be the shell material and build-process. Sennheiser has precisely designed the stunning ear shells of the IE600 using a 3D printing process in Germany. The shells are then later hand-crafted with the driver and other components at their facility in Ireland. The cavities are made up of aerospace-grade Zirconium alloy, which is also used in the Mars Rover so you can have an idea about its durability and strength. In terms of cavity chamber design, Sennheiser has designed the IE600 with a dual-chamber design using a 7mm dynamic driver on each side, they say it has a neutral and natural sound profile.

Sennheiser bundles the IE600 with a bunch of high-quality accessories including multiple sets of ear tips, and two cables. The pair comes with two cables, one with a 3.5mm single-ended termination, and the other with a 4.4mm balanced termination. The cables have gold-plated MMCX plugs for easy and smooth connectivity with the earpieces.
