Moonriver 2 adopts a high-performance dual DAC chipset with two flagship-grade CS43198 DAC chips from Cirrus Logics. These chips are arranged in a four-channel fully balanced architecture. They deliver class-leading performance achieving ultra-low THD+N, high dynamic range, and high SNR ratings. With the balanced 4.4mm output, Moonriver has got a solid SNR rating of up to 131dB, pretty sure the background is gonna be crystal clear even with sensitive IEMs.
Moondrop has featured dual headphone outputs on the Moonriver 2. It houses a single-ended 3.5mm and another 4.4mm balanced headphone output. They adopt dual OPAMPs producing a powerful output thrust. The Moonriver 2 has got enough juice to power even demanding headphones(up to 300Ω) with ease.
Don’t go on the compact form factor of the Moonriver 2. It supports full high-resolution audio signal decoding, fully supporting 32-Bit/384kHz PCM and native DSD256 straight out of the box.
