Earlier this year, Moondrop entered into the world of portable DAC/AMPs with the Moonriver 2. The device got fantastic reviews and impressions from users worldwide. Moondrop followed the success with the recent launch of a fully-balanced 4.4mm Moondrop Dawn DAC/AMP. It came as a blessing for people who were looking to get a balanced DAC/AMP at a pocket-friendly price. Today, Moondrop has announced a brand new single-ended variant for the Dawn, presenting the all-new Moondrop Dawn 3.5mm.

Moondrop has kept the DAC and internal audio circuitry the same as with the balanced variant of Dawn, it comes packed with dual Cirrus Logics DAC chipset, and dual independent crystal oscillators, just the 4.4mm balanced output is now replaced by a 3.5mm single-ended one. Dawn 3.5mm houses dual CS43131 DAC chips, a premium 32-bit DAC chip that delivers exceptional performance and is trusted by many users. It supports high-resolution 32-Bit/768kHz PCM signals and native DSD256 signals turning your smartphone into a fully-blown Hi-Res source.

The design and build of the Dawn 3.5mm get a rectangular form factor. The outer chassis has been carved using high-quality aluminum alloy material. It has a rich and premium finish.
