Moondrop Announces Blessing 3!!
Moondrop has established itself as a prominent manufacturer of high-resolution in-ear monitors from China over the years, and it doesn’t require any introductions now. Recently, the Moondrop released its latest addition to the mid-fi lineup, the Moondrop Blessing 3. As the third generation of the renowned “Blessing” series of hybrid in-ear monitors from Moondrop, the Blessing 3 is a premium product with six drivers on each side in an advanced hybrid configuration. The in-ear monitors are equipped with a specially designed 3D-printed acoustic cavity structure and incorporate the latest HODDDUS (Horizontally Opposed Dual Dynamic Drivers Unit System) technology. The Moondrop Blessing 3 has been officially launched with a price tag of $319.99.
The Moondrop Blessing 3 features a six-driver hybrid setup on each side, comprising four high-performance balanced armature driver units and dual 10mm dynamic driver units. The drivers are precisely arranged in a 3D-printed acoustic cavity structure. Moondrop has developed a new module called HODDDUS (Horizontally Opposed Dual Dynamic Drivers Unit System), which allows for the placement of dual dynamic driver units in a horizontal orientation. This module has been designed to maintain the magnetic structure and airflow of both drivers, resulting in a powerful lower-end response. The symmetrical HODDDUS layout concentrates the magnetic field at the magnetic gap of the two dynamic drivers, similar to the principle found in planar magnetic earphones. This results in improved energy conversion efficiency reduced nonlinear distortion, and cleaner lower-end performance.
Moondrop has carried over the physical and electronic crossover technology from its previous generation and has further refined it to deliver superior sound performance. The mid-high response and lower-end rumble have both been effectively enhanced, offering an exceptional listening experience to the users.
