Luxury & Precision Releases W2-131: Your Trusted W2 With New DAC Chipset
Luxury & Precision has released a new variant for its famous W2 USB Dongle DAC/AMP, the L&P W2-131. While maintaining the same features as the original W2, they have implemented a brand new Dual DAC chipset on the W-131. It has also got performance improvements like improved driving power, lower power consumption, and more. Luxury & Precision as a brand needs no introduction. The W2 is their flagship USB DAC/AMP that has got countless positive feedbacks from users worldwide. The new W2-131 houses a flagship-grade dual DAC chipset featuring two CS43131 DAC chips from Cirrus Logics. These chips are tuned and adjusted for improved performance over the previous model. The new Luxury & Precision W2-131 is launched for 329.99$.
The main difference between the new W2-131 and the OG W2 model is the DAC chipset. The OG W2 featured Dual CS43198 chips while the new W2-131 features dual CS43131 DAC chips. They offer improved performance with class-leading SNR and DNR ratings. They provide exceptional high-resolution signal decoding characteristics with ultra-low THD+N ratings. L&P W2-131 supports high-resolution PCM(up to 32-Bit/384kHz) and native DSD(up to DSD256), bringing authentic high-resolution audio to your pocket.
The new L&P W2-131 has got increased driving power over the previous model. It has got a 10% boost in the output power rating, now providing 260mW of clean output power providing enough juice for both headphones and IEMs. W2-131 also has got low power-consumption draining low battery off the connected source device.
To stand out from the previous model, the new W2-131 is launched in an entirely new color variant, now with a Prussian Blue body that looks really classy and elegant. Don’t worry, everything else is kept the same as the original W2, you get High-Gate-Count FPGA Chipset, low-noise MCU chip, SPDIF Output, and many more features.
