Whether it be their budget set Freya or their flagship, Nanna or Odin, all of them feature stunning hand-painted designer cavities that bring an all-new design and look to our HiFi IEMs. Today, Kinera has announced its highly-anticipated multi-BA IEMs, the Kinera Skuld. Skuld similar to other products in Kinera’s beautiful lineup features stunning hand-painted ear cavities and houses a powerful five balanced armature driver configuration for each side. Kinera Skuld is launched today with a price tag of 550$.

Story Behind Kinera Skuld:-

Before we begin with the latest IEM by Kinera, There’s something you should know. Kinera has always associated a story, a character from the famous Norse Mythology with its products, for example, Baldr the current flagship in the house of Kinera is an old god of light, joy, purity in the Norse Mythology. Similarly, Skuld is also related to a character of Norse Mythology. The story behind Skuld is actually associated with Norn, the three sisters of fate. The three sisters weave the entire past, present, and future of the world. Skuld is the youngest among the three. She is the in-charge of Future, goddess of future as per the Norse Myths. Talented professionals at Kinera have designed the Skuld with the goddess of the future as their inspiration behind the design and tuning of the Kinera Skuld.

Stunning Hand-Painted Ear Cavities:-

Kinera Skuld is simply one of the best-designed, best-looking HiFi audio IEMs in recent times. The lead designer has adopted black as the main base color with blue and green changing polarising effect as the main design elements on the cavities. Each unit of Kinera Skuld is created by professional artists that hand-paints each unit to perfection. They have a lustrous gold foil with glittery silver optical particles to its design that adds a shiny finish to the pair.

High-Resolution Performance With Full-BA Driver Configuration:-

Kinera has carefully designed a full BA driver configuration for the Skuld featuring five high-performance Balanced Armatures. The pair features two Kinera’s in-house customized BA drivers and three Knowles premium BA drivers per side. There’s a 1×2 Kinera customized SWFK-31736 composite BA unit for high frequencies, Midrange uses a 2×2 Knowles composite RAF-32873 BA unit and a Knowles CI-22955 BA unit is there for lower frequencies.

Tuned To Provide A Natural & Balanced Sound Signature:-

Professional audio engineers at Kinera have tuned the Skuld to provide a natural, lively sound response. The pair has a flat sound frequency response with a difference of not more than 4dB across the 0Hz-8kHz frequency range. Flat doesn’t mean it sounds dull or something, rather the Skuld as per Kinera has a crisp, high-resolution response with high dynamic transients. This is their flattest tuning after the Multi-BA flagship ODIN.

High-Quality Balanced 4.4mm Cable:-

Kinera Skuld comes bundled with a high-quality silver-plated copper cable. It has a balanced 4.4mm termination plug. The cable consists of 24 strands per wire with 8 manual braided cores that makes it a total of 192 strands per cable. It has PVC insulation for the outer covering reducing any chances of microphonic complaints. It provides excellent audio signal transmission with low internal resistance. This high-quality cable enhances the sound with a better, wider soundstage, deeper bass, smooth yet detailed mid and high-frequency response.

Premium Accessories:-

Kinera bundles the Skuld with a premium set of accessories starting with a high-quality 4.4mm cable, 4.4mm-3.5mm, and 4.4mm-2.5mm adapters to use Skuld with different terminations. The package also includes premium Final audio Type-E ear tips along with a different set of silicone and foam ear tips.
