FiiO Summer Launch Event: Meet BTR7, KA2, & FF3!!
Last week, FiiO took over the internet with their Summer Launch Event 2022. They released a series of high-fidelity products such as the FF3(Flat-Head Earbuds), KA2(Portable USB DAC/AMP), and the BTR7(Flagship-grade Bluetooth DAC/AMP). This summer launch event from FiiO was highly anticipated by audio lovers from all around the globe. Specifically for their latest BTR7 flagship Bluetooth DAC/AMP. First off, we will start with the latest pair of earbuds from FiiO, the FF3. For the past many years, FiiO has grown itself into a well-established high-fidelity brand. They specialize in the design and marketing of premium in-ear monitors and earbuds among other categories of the HiFi audio world. When we talk about earphones specifically, FiiO has a lot of successful products under their name. The FF3 is the latest addition here. It has got a unique drum-shaped cavity design which is fitted with a bass-enhancing acoustic tube structure. The pair houses a large 14.2mm dynamic driver with a beryllium-plated dome and PU gasket diaphragm. This driver is said to use an Imported Daikoku voice coil. FiiO states that the pair has got a beautiful bass response with exceptional clarity through the remaining frequency segments. FF3 comes with a high-purity silver-plated monocrystalline copper cable with interchangeable termination plugs. FiiO FF3 is an entry-level earbud priced at 109$.

Next, FiiO introduced a new Portable USB DAC/AMP, the KA2 which is here to fill the gap between the entry-level KA1 and the flagship KA3. It’s a balanced portable USB dongle DAC equipped with dual CS43131 DAC chips from Cirrus Logics. These are 32-Bit DACs that are capable of delivering high-quality performance with low harmonic distortion and clean, noise-free background. It supports high-resolution PCM 32-Bit/384kHz and native DSD256 signal decoding. FiiO KA2 has a truly balanced design with a 4.4mm balanced headphone output. It offers five pre-installed digital filters to give the output a more personal touch. It supports full integration with FiiO Control Application that allows for firmware upgrade, digital filter adjustment, and many more features. FiiO KA2 will be available for just 59.99$.

The much-awaited flagship Bluetooth DAC/AMP, BTR7 is finally here. FiiO has finally unwrapped the beautiful device. Designed with the latest-gen QCC5124 Bluetooth chipset, BTR7 provides solid, stable, lag-free Bluetooth V5.1 connectivity. BTR7 supports multiple high-resolution audio codecs including LDAC, AptX HD, AptX Adaptive, etc. It offers an independent audio architecture consisting of a premium ESS Sabre Dual DAC chipset along with a low-pass filter and a powerful amplification section. FiiO has featured premium 2xTHX AA-28 amplification chips. It features a fully balanced audio circuitry. BTR7 houses dual headphone output ports, a single-ended 3.5mm and another 4.4mm balanced connection port. BTR7 is the first in the series to bring a 4.4mm balanced connection to the series.
Another thing new with the BTR7 is the inclusion of a bright, colorful 1.3” IPS display that shows different settings in an intuitive colorful user interface. BTR7 will be leading the range of portable Bluetooth DAC/AMPs by FiiO. It is launched officially in two different variants, the Type-C variant priced at 219.99$ and the Lightning variant at 239.99$.
