FiiO K9 Pro Flagship All-in-One Desktop DAC+Headphone Amplifier
FiiO recently announced its latest flagship desktop all-in-one DAC/AMP, the FiiO K9 Pro. FiiO has designed it with TOTL DAC and AMP chipsets featuring premium AK4499 Decoder from AKM Technologies and a high-performance THX AAA-788+ amplifier circuit. K9 Pro delivers industry-leading performance with its premium audio circuitry, Linear power supply, dual independent crystal oscillator femtosecond clocks, Qualcomm’s latest Bluetooth chip, and many more premium components and features. FiiO K9 Pro is available worldwide for 839.99$. Considering the AKM AK4499 DAC chips are now out of print, we are guessing that the K9 Pro will be available in limited quantities worldwide.
FiiO has designed K9 Pro with AKM’s flagship AK4499 DAC chip. It is a high-performance 32-Bit 4-Channel DAC that is supported by a high-resolution audio decoder from XMOS. K9 Pro fully supports high-resolution 32/768 PCM and native DSD512 decoding. It also has support for MQA decoding. The AK4499 allows the K9 Pro to achieve industry-leading performance with ultra-low distortion and high SNR ratings. For clean and powerful signal amplification, K9 Pro features a premium THX AAA 788+ amplifier circuit. It enables the K9 Pro to produce a powerful output thrust delivering clean, undistorted audio signal for Headphones and IEMs. The device has three gain levels allowing the users to pair their sensitive as well as high-power requiring IEMs/HPs with the K9 Pro. FiiO has treated the K9 Pro with Qualcomm’s latest QCC5124 Bluetooth Chip. It brings reliable, strong Bluetooth connection with high-res LDAC, AptX HD, AptX Adaptive, and more transmission codec support.
FiiO K9 Pro features a fully balanced audio circuit design. It has a four-channel DAC, four-channel Amplifier, four-channel volume design. The audio signal goes through a six-stage audio circuit ensuring high-res quality at every single step. The signal goes through I/V conversion, LPF Filter, Volume Control, Buffer Amplifier, Pre-AMP, and Output-Amp stages. With their premium component circuitry, signal quality is maintained with great precision.
FiiO K9 Pro is a flagship-grade performer coming at an attractive price. Most of the flagship DAC’s that use AK4499 chipset are usually priced over 1000$, but the K9 Pro comes at just 839.99$.
