Over the years, DUNU has developed itself as a leading brand for premium HiFi in-ear monitors. They have always tried to innovate and implement new technologies in the best way possible. This past year, we have seen so many Planar Magnetic Based in-ear monitors, today, DUNU has joined that bandwagon with its latest announcement, the DUNU Talos.

Talos is new in the pipeline from DUNU. Only a little information is provided so far with the product planned to release later this month. The product page just went up on HiFiGo with no price information so far. According to the information provided, DUNU Talos houses a large 14.6mm newly-developed planar magnetic driver. It is accompanied by a customized dual Balanced Armature driver unit. Talos features a switch that allows the users to easily switch between Planar mode or Hybrid Planar mode. In planar mode, the pair produces a smooth, natural, warm output suitable for long listening sessions and ideal for most genres. In Hybrid mode, the pair gets a transparent and beautiful sound with improved resolution and speed.

From the images, Talos has got a nice textured finish on its ear shells. The cavities have a switch placed at the side that will allow the users to switch between planar and hybrid modes. Talos is going to be the first planar magnetic driver IEM from the house of DUNU.
