Cayin N6ii MQA Update Announced
Cayin has announced its latest firmware for its high-end hi-res music player, the Cayin N6ii. This latest firmware adds the much-awaited MQA support for the player. Now the N6ii fully unfolds the MQA files using any of the audio motherboards without any issue. N6ii is a highly acclaimed hi-res music player from Cayin. It is praised by audiophiles from around the globe for its brilliant performance and changeable audio motherboard design.

What is MQA:-
MQA stands for Master Quality Authenticated. MQA music files have a high sampling rate and lower file size ensuring amazing music quality with lower file size. MQA enabled devices support decoding and rendering of these files to their full potential.
How to update:-
Please Note:-
>Please make sure the device has more than 30% battery.
>Please make sure your N6ii has more than 1GB of free storage before the update.
>Don’t operate the device during the update procedure.
>During the update, the device will turn off and reboot automatically. If the device doesn’t reboot in 3 minutes after its turned off press and hold the POWER Button for 3 seconds to boot up the device. The device will resume the firmware update process.
>Please delete/remove the firmware file from the TF card after the update.
Over-the-Air(OTA) Update:-
>Connect the N7ii to the internet via a Wi-Fi connection.
>Go to the SETTINGS menu.
>Click on “System”.
>Click on “Wireless Update”.
>Press “Check for Updates”.
>System will check for new firmware.
>Press “Download” after new firmware is detected.
>System will start downloading the new firmware.
>Press “Install now” after the firmware is successfully downloaded.
>Press “OK” at the pop-up dialogue, the system will start installing the new firmware.
Manual Update:-
>Download the latest firmware update package from here.
>Copy the downloaded zip file to the root directory of the N6ii internal memory or SD card.
>Go to the SETTINGS menu.
>Click on “System”.
>Click on “Wireless Update”.
>Press the “┇” icon on the top right corner.
>Select “Local Updates” from the drop-down menu.
>Navigate and click on the download firmware file.
>Press “Install Now”.
>Press “OK” at the pop-up dialogue, the system will start installing the new firmware.
You can update your Cayin N6ii to the latest firmware using any of the above-mentioned methods and enjoy the benefits of MQA audio files without any issue.
