AFUL Performer 5: Precisely Designed 1DD+4BA Driver Hybrid IEMs

Launched at just 219.99$, AFUL Performer 5 packs a combination of 1 dynamic driver and 4 balanced armature drivers on each side. The pair features specially developed RLC frequency crossover correction technology that helps in precise tuning adjustments of the drivers. It enables clean sound performance with lower distortion in the output signal by precisely adjusting the driver’s configuration. The drivers are adjusted in a three-way frequency crossover with the dynamic driver delivering a powerful lower end, dual BA drivers producing lovely midrange, and dual BA delivering crisp treble performance. Using a specially imported EnvisionTEC 3D printer, AFUL has designed a 3D-printed acoustic cavity structure consisting of sound tubes. This includes a 60mm ultra-thin and ultra-long bass tube, a 30mm mid-bass tube, etc. Performer 5 delivers a powerful bass response with excellent phase connection with the other frequencies. Similarly, mid-range and treble performance also benefits from this specially developed 3D printed acoustic cavity structure, resulting in an overall great sound performance. Performer 5 has got spectacular looks, the compact, lightweight resin shell is attached to beautiful Magma-styled face covers. The shells are designed with a high-damping air-pressure balance system, which releases the air pressure inside the ear canal when the pair is worn.
